ARDOR — COMPANY BOILERPLATE
Updated April 2026
============================================================

SHORT VERSION (45 words)
------------------------------------------------------------
Ardor is the BAFA-compliance layer for Germany's data-centre
waste-heat mandate. The platform quantifies recoverable thermal
energy across more than 100 operating facilities, generates
§11b-ready reports, and routes measured heat to district-heating
networks where it can displace fossil capacity.

LONG VERSION (110 words)
------------------------------------------------------------
Ardor is a Germany-based software platform built for a specific
regulation: §11b of the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG, 2023),
which obliges every data-centre operator above 1 MW IT load to
file a waste-heat feasibility assessment with BAFA.

The platform ingests operator data, calculates recoverable
thermal energy against cooling type and PUE, maps proximity to
district-heating networks, and produces a BAFA-ready submission
in hours instead of the consulting-led months the mandate
originally implied. Ardor's register already covers more than
100 facilities across Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich and secondary
markets — representing over 4.2 TWh of quantified recoverable
heat annually. Ardor is privately held and headquartered in
Germany.
